GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE (GTCS)

The rental of a pitch, a rental accommodation or a guest room implies full acceptance of the terms and conditions of sale described below by the contracting parties.

BOOKING CONDITIONS

Mas Cauvy offers stays with a family-oriented vocation, in the traditional sense. It reserves the right to refuse any booking that would be contrary to this spirit or that would seek to circumvent it.

Any booking is concluded for a fixed period corresponding to the dates of stay confirmed at the time of booking. Under no circumstances may the client claim a right to remain on the premises beyond this period, except with the express agreement of Mas Cauvy.

The booking option is valid for 10 days from the date of the request. In the absence of confirmation within this period, the option is automatically cancelled. The booking becomes effective only after written confirmation from Mas Cauvy and receipt of the deposit.

At the time of booking, the client may express preferences. As far as possible, Mas Cauvy will endeavour to meet these requests, without however being able to guarantee them.

In order to ensure proper schedule management, Mas Cauvy reserves the final choice of pitch, rental accommodation or room. It also reserves the right, without the client being entitled to any compensation, to change the initially allocated pitch, rental accommodation or room for an equivalent or higher-capacity one. In such a case, the price of the stay remains unchanged.

The booking is strictly personal. It may not under any circumstances be sublet or transferred to a third party without the prior agreement of the campsite.

Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Camping pitches

The basic package (Nature package) includes an unfurnished pitch for a tent, caravan or motorhome for 1 or 2 people, 1 vehicle, as well as access to sanitary facilities and reception infrastructures.

Additional charges (extra person, extra vehicle, extra tent, pet, etc.) are not included in the package and will be added to it.

The Comfort package corresponds to the Nature package with 6-amp electricity (1,380 watts).

A pitch may accommodate a maximum of 6 people (including young children).

Rental accommodation

Prices include occupants (2 to 5 depending on accommodation capacity), water, gas, electricity, one vehicle, as well as access to reception and sanitary facilities.

Bed linen (mandatory) and towels are not included and may be rented upon prior reservation.

The campsite reserves the right to refuse access to groups or families arriving with a number of participants exceeding the capacity of the rented accommodation.

All rental accommodations are non-smoking. Smoking and electronic cigarettes are prohibited inside the accommodations.

Any complaint regarding damaged or missing equipment must be reported promptly to reception.

Guest rooms

Prices include occupants (2 to 5 depending on room capacity) as well as access to Mas Cauvy facilities, including the use of the summer kitchen near reception.

Bed linen and towels are included (beds made on arrival).

Breakfast, included in the price, is served every morning between 8:30 am and 9:30 am on the terrace near reception or in the reception room, depending on weather conditions.

Smoking is prohibited in the rooms, on the balcony and on the terrace of the house.

Group bookings

Any multiple booking made by the same person or by several people who know each other and are travelling together for the same dates and reasons is considered a group booking. Any group booking request must be sent to the campsite by phone or email.

The campsite reserves the right to review the request before acceptance or refusal.

Rates

The prices indicated are valid for the current year. They correspond to one night for camping pitches or may apply on a weekly basis for rental accommodations and guest rooms. Prices are expressed in euros, VAT included. Mas Cauvy reserves the right to adjust its rates in the event of changes to tax or VAT rates.

Tourist tax and environmental contribution

The tourist tax is a local tax payable by the client to the owner, who then transfers it to the Public Treasury. It is set at €0.22 per night per person aged 18 and over for camping and rental accommodations, and €0.77 for guest rooms.

The environmental contribution reflects costs related to waste treatment and environmental preservation. Its amount is determined per person per day. The tourist tax and environmental contribution appear separately on the invoice.

For any booking made via an online booking platform (OTA), the specific conditions of that platform apply and take precedence over these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
