Glamping in the Cévennes and the Gard
Mas Cauvy is in the Gard, on the edge of the Cévennes, surrounded by fields, trees and gentle hills. The location offers a great balance of nature and easy access.
You stay close to a village and local shops, while the atmosphere on site remains quiet and rural. A perfect base for walks, markets and nature in the Occitanie region.
Authentic glamping with comfort
Our bell tent offers an authentic glamping experience in the Cévennes, without the hassle of traditional camping. Everything is ready when you arrive—you just unpack and your holiday can begin.
The interior is simple and cosy, with real beds and practical furniture. You get the feeling of sleeping in a tent, with the comfort of a holiday accommodation.
Layout and comfort in the bell tent
The bell tent has a 5-metre diameter and offers almost 20 m² of indoor space. It’s ideal for couples, with enough room to stay comfortably with a small family too.
Inside you’ll find a double bed (140 cm), a sofa bed and a discreet pull-out drawer bed. The tent is made of breathable cotton canvas, for a pleasant indoor climate—even on warm summer days.
The terrace: outdoor living
In front of the bell tent, you’ll find a spacious wooden terrace with views of the surroundings and the evening sun. It’s the perfect spot to have breakfast outside, read, or unwind after a day exploring the Cévennes.
The terrace includes a wooden picnic table and comfortable chairs—so you can fully enjoy outdoor living in a calm, natural atmosphere.
A sheltered outdoor kitchen with everything you need
On the terrace there is a sheltered outdoor kitchen, set up for simple meals. It includes a tabletop fridge, a coffee maker and kettle, a 2-burner gas hob, and crockery for four people.
There is no running water inside the tent, but the sanitary facilities and washing-up sinks are very close by.
Practical information & extras
Pillows and blankets are provided in the bell tent. Bed linen and towels are not included, but can be rented on site. Please bring your own kitchen linen (tea towels).
This way you choose the level of comfort you prefer, while everything you need is here for a relaxed stay.
Check-in is from 4:00 pm, and check-out is by 11:00 am. On arrival, please report to the Mas Cauvy reception. Parking is available near the bell tent.
The sanitary facilities with hot showers are a short walk away. The bell tent has lighting and electricity for everyday comfort.
Mas Cauvy is a quiet campsite with no entertainment. We kindly ask guests to respect the evening calm and to be considerate of one another and of nature.
